2017 Crocodile Trophy
This year marks the 23rd edition of the Crocodile Trophy, known to be one of the most demanding bike races in the world.
Running across 8 gruelling stages and 650km, this event draws more than 120 riders from around the globe keen to test their wits in the extreme Aussie Outback. Riders will race the ~600km and cover over 12,000m of elevation through the incredible landscape of Queensland’s Tropical North.
Stage 1 of the 2017 Crocodile Trophy will take place at Smithfield MTB Park, the home track of the Cairns Mountain Bike Club, which will host the UCI World Championships only a week before.
With an S1 UCI status, this is the world’s oldest and has been said to be the toughest international mountain bike stage race – and it is your chance to take on the challenge of a lifetime!
